They cannot tell you everything because the matter is still being litigated. There is a confidentiality order made by the Arbitral Panel that KCN opposed. Letting TAFTA be handed down is still an option. Assuming a judgment is handed down enforcing it is by no means a certainty. As we have already been given the mine back with extra leases, tax holidays etc, this could impair our compensation. The higher gold prices may make the compensation appear small given the large rises since 2016. The handing down of the TAFTA decision may help and not hinder settlement, that said I am in the same position as you in that I know nothing of the discussions between the 2 parties.
