What I was thinking too Fitzroy. What prevents a group of four or five related party entities (family members/trusts/companies/SMSFs etc,) getting to just under 5%, then doing an off market transfer between themselves and announcing to the market “becoming a substantial shareholder at 10%, a few days later another off market transfer and they are at 15% and so on. Given BAML’s scant regard for the laws in this country, this accumulation by stealth would simply be an extension of their trading strategy.
