Imagine your favourite news paper hires a new editor / author and all of the sudden, the newspaper starts reporting not only on key economical, financial, and political events but is loaded with information on a politician's extramarital affair, restaurants a financier likes and what college students think of the future economic outlook.

Now, your favourite newspaper is likely not your favourite newspaper anymore and every morning you reach for that previously liked and respected newspaper, you end extremely sad and annoyed. Now, you are potentially thinking about suggesting to the newspaper that they split its original high quality content and the more tabloid style contents into clearly separated parts.

Doncamillo, I think some things you post are actually interesting and insightful, but sometimes you post five news stories covering exactly the same content. Here, while the quantum of newsoutlets covering the story might indicate its meaningfulness / significance, to readers who open a thread and see pages and pages of articles, it will become quite difficult to digest. For these "confirmatory" double and triple postings, maybe a separate thread would be useful.
