Last few pumps are just before announcements like 1/2 year, then a dump. Can almost set your broken clock by it.
Conspiracies abound but the strategy seems to be pump it up to mid 1.30's - sell - drive it down to mid teens - left to right - right to left - shake the stop loss tree, shake shake.... Shake shake... Buy at the bottom.. Rinse and repeat. If you're turning over just 500k shares each time you factor a .20c margin could make $100k each cycle. Do that 12 times a year = $1.2m profit. Just off a single company on the ASX.
Watch when posters like Woodforbrains and Adam Bleh come in and ramp up the negative rhetoric in HC.. map it. Then they disappear for a bit. Not saying those fools have major influence as to give Adam A any credit would be a crime against reason - but anyone having a cursory read of KCN HC would be hard pressed to filter through the BS to even understand what's happening let alone jump onboard. For those who do brave the lunacy, the cycle of dump starts, the negative voices amp up, new investors freak out or their SLs are triggered. Each time - someone is making bank.
