There is no shortage of silver....there are a few billion ounces held be ETF's silver stackers and Indians
I am a silver stacker and sold 90% of my stack in the 2011 spike. I also sold SVL in the 30's then having bought it in the early teens 12 months prior. Now it's below 20
I started restacking a few years ago. So I am the type of stacker looking for an exit at the right price. I think a spike to US$100 is possible. The ETF's have experienced outflows last couple of years. They hold about a billion ounces. Investors prefer them to buying bars and coins unless you are a bit of a preppy like me.
So I ask myself is it possible to engineer a shortage of physical plus a COMEX short squeeze. I am talking a Hunt type squeeze. Back in 1979/80 the COMEX changed the rules overnight on the Hunts and banned long positions so you could only sell.
the stacker in me wants $100, not $50. ETFs are going to see inflows, industrial demand is ramping up.
A shortage of silver is possible causing a parabolic rise, and of course subsequent collapse.
KCN is the best silver play on the ASX, what a stroke of good fortune we never sold NE
