The political situation in Thailand now is relatively stable. A civilian government, with the army/royalty holding some control through back-seat positions in the coalition.

Move Forward supporters are disappointed in having been disenfranchised by the junta appointed courts/senate, but are not protesting currently, and the army/royalty have no desperate need to do another coup - if they couldn't stop the Move Forward government from forming, then that would have been a bigger risk.

Thaksin's return is the most volatile factor, but it would have been done as part of a deal with the army/royalty, so little risk from that side. As for civilians, I didn't see anything boiling over. Just the usual complaints about empty election promises from the Pheu Thai government about the cash handouts, which are severely delayed. Though in Thailand, government dissolutions can come in surprising ways, like due to a PM being paid a fee to appear on a cooking show.
