At least one institution is accumulating.
I've been buying 3-4K KCN fortnightly over the past three years.
I place my bid in the centre of the spread.
E.g if the bid is 1.34 and the offer 1.35 my bid is 1.345.
I've noticed In the split second my bid appears on the board, someone else has got in bidding with an odd no. of shares e.g 2764.
Obviously someone or an algo is front running me.
Only the banks and institutions have access to HFT.
This has been occurring over the past year.
My theory fits in with the observation of the CEO at the last AGM.
Before the plant shutdown institutions vs retail shareholding was 70:30.
At the time of the last AGM the ratio was reversed to 40:60.
Institutions love producers for the guaranteed cashflow.
How do you shake out dumb retail?
By running a disinformation campaign on HC along with massive short selling to create uncertainty in the minds of retail.
