Sorry it wasn't in the same post as the one above it. Yours was a great post Post #: 75177815. People are having real grizzles over HFT, and it was referred on to a silk in that regard. The fact that last year the ASX only got 9 million dollars for selling out its gullible investors shows how stupid they are and what they will do to favour the big end of town. The trading is meant to be fair, orderly and transparent and is none of them. That said, my main grizzle is with the algos, that paint the chart.

I am thinking that shareholders may only see wealth in the form of buybacks before there is any influence on the share price. Hopefully that is not too far away. The maggots behind the bots will ensure they will vacuum up all the retail shares they can before the assets and cashflow are reflected in the share price.

I couldn't agree with you more about our basket case of a government, especially on the gas. Those ratbags should be banned from taking those "jobs" which appear to be a payback for services rendered.

The corruption is endemic and sickening.

As for ASIC, the sooner it is broken up the better.
