they are not incentivised to settle. It’s a stupid fee to them. So sell it to them $1b. TAFTA goes away.
KCN talks about firming up the leases, then increasing the resource and then an ipo on the Thai stock exchange anyway. For how much? Sell it to them now and save the time and b/s. They save on TAFTA they get the mine and they can list on the Thai stock exchange themselves. They can privatise it or keep it national.
Get rid of it. KCN management have proven before they make bad decisions with excess cash.
KCN management are not aligned with shareholders. We are years away from trading with a market cap at $1b or $2b like some have suggested.
