There's fair odds of a coup. Why? Any small excuse will do in Thailand. The female PM (daughter of Thaksin) called Hun Sen 'Uncle' and said not to listen to her blustering army in regards to the border dispute (on Thai / Cambodian social media, you'll see them heatedly insulting each other a lot right now. They've fought over this small bit of land before).
So BJT left the coalition. There's a small majority remaining. It's easy to pay off a few of those remaining to jump ship. So there's a risk of the government dissolving. Move Forward (the ones who got the highest vote, but were removed by the coalition) suggest the government dissolve itself to avoid a coup.
A mess as usual. The mine remains open, but negotiations will be on the back burner (as they have been for years). Previously 'need time for the new ministers to learn the ropes'. Now - 'no time for this, too busy with risk of a coup'.
