But Ukraine's partners are doing a very gradual ramp-up of support.
If anything, they'll start intercepting missiles that enter the Western half of Ukraine near to Poland, freeing up some of Ukraine's anti-air capacity to use in the East.
France is taking the lead, saying that troops on the ground is a possibility. If every country says "we won't do it", then Russia have free reign, knowing the specific limits of UA's support.
