Great find: This is an opinion column written by RGJ columnist Pat Hickey, a member of the Nevada Legislature from 1996 to 2016.

That's very true what he said and I have to agree too:
"For that reason, I find it ironic that certain environmentalists are opposing the mining of lithium in Nevada. To help preserve the environment, we need to get rid of our dependence on fossil fuels and develop electric vehicles. Electric cars need lithium-ion batteries. Mining these minerals in order to extract and produce lithium for mostly carbon-free vehicles like Teslas, Fords, and soon-to-be many other car makers, is a sound environmental pursuit".
