Agree, especially in impoverished countries
We need a win/win though ...Mali has to believe that they are respected and have a fair deal ,,,as Buffet would say he would never enter a deal unless it was a win/win... which I think will happen here just have to convince military people of economic realities.
Simon and Rick alongside Ganfeng could be establishing a very trusting relationship with govt due to the lengthy negotiations. Each side gets to know each other very well, and time allows both sides to see if what is promised is done... 10/10 on that score... so this new government could well trust Leo/ Ganfeng more than any other foreign company in Mali by the end of the negotiations which opens up the downstream concentrator idea per Jack Spark
