Also, all agreements by any & all reports seem to be null & void at this point until further notice... the Malian government are certainly not conforming to previous agreements.

As you know I have been a vocal advocate on the option of halting construction until all issues were resolved. IMO we are in uncharted waters, our only option was to halt construction. As far as we can ascertain, continuing to deliver this project for the Malian government while employing 1,800 locals, funding local improvement projects & paying millions in what I deem to be unlawful duties & taxes have done us no favors in this almost 9 month 'negotiation' debacle...
