The whole context in Africa is so uncertain that things can change very quickly. It so bizarre turn of events and problem is management don’t say anything. What are they planning? Are they waiting out for a political change in Mali. Can’t we close operations for a few years and then retake when they have a democratic government. How long can the junta really last. I would believe their situation is precarious. They may have the support for Russia now but things can change fast. There are several factions fighting for power in Mali. The population is starting to turn against the junta. Moreover, several international companies are facing problems with the current regime. One thing is certain things started to go downhill fast since the junta took control of Mali.
