I'm not sure the Junta will be booted out soon. The Russians via Wagner and other means will keep them in power until they are no longer needed.
The Russians are building parallel economies to help get around sanctions and finance their war.
They are establishing import facilities via 'friendly' countries and then move the goods into Russia. They are also looking for countries like Mali with mineral wealth to assist in financing their war and imports.
Not saying the Russians will take Goulamina but evidently, they have an eye for gold.
