A few of the regular posters here on LLL laughed at and belittled those posters who outlined the serious concerns with sovereign risk in Africa, particularly currently in the Mali region, and those uprampers are still suffering. Perhaps the lesson has been learned?
Naive Aussie shareholders being used by African Governments and Chinese SOEs to finance the exploration and infrastructure for a new mine, and then being kicked out when production is close... nothing new!
