Lithium is still in favour as the electric vehicle market will increase exponentially over the next 2years.
The shortage of new vehicles has mostly been blamed on shortage of computer chip supply. I seriously doubt that. The shortage is mainly due to the need to phase out of petrol and diesel vehicles to try and achieve climate change targets. There is still a lot of market resistance for electric vehicles but the demand will change over time as people come to accept electric vehicles and charging distances improve. Prices of electric vehicles will come down as government subsidies are provided. The increase in fuel cost is blamed on the war in the Ukraine. How convenient.
The Goldman Sachs report seemed very convenient to scare retail holders to sell their Lithium stocks. Obvious conclusions there.
short term pain long term gain in my opinion.
