it is claimed that the earth rotates once every 24 hours approximately.
they called this the "sidereal period".
they had to put the word "real" in there for some reason.
equates to a rotation speed of about 1,000 miles per hour (at the equator).

top speed of concord is 1,354 miles per hour.
there is no claim of a change in speed regarding direction or location.
nowhere is it claimed that the top speed is 2,354 mph if travelling in a certain direction at the equator.

similarly, all websites, airlines etc. make no adjustment for the rotation of the earth in travel times.
(travel times are usually the exact same or very close in both directions of return travel.)
nor does a long range sniper, or any hunter, archer, or shooter make any such adjustment.
