Just noticed from some Chinese website re Lithium spot prices. Quotes on 12/03/2023, local spot industry grade was CNY343,600/ton, while one supplier offered battery grade @ CNY550,000/ton imported. Not sure why the difference is so big? Usually price difference between industry and battery grade is just about 5%.
Maybe @8horse can shed some light on this?
