I don't think this is the right place for this kind of discussion and I generally don't post about such things especially because I don't really know what's happening on the ground. I speculate that the Russian government is not doing all those things you say out of the goodness of their heart. I also speculate the African militaries/governments wanted the French and UN organisations to do their dirty work and actively go out and fight/kill the islamists. French/UN may have said they won't do this but instead they would take on a security/stabilising kind of role. That might be why sentiment turned against them (they weren't doing what the African military/governments wanted them to do) and I think that's why they were asked to leave. Russia sweetening the deal to have it's Wagner mercenaries take African coin to kill people the African military/governments don't like, be it islamists or other. But hey, just speculating.
