Yes anything is possible but what you are suggesting is jumping at shadows where there are no shadows. LLL has been appointed as a JV partner for a good reason and their progress todate in Mali will have validated that in the eyes of their Chinese partner. Ganfeng has become very profitable by getting miners to do the mining which allows them to concentrating on the processing. Ganfeng has a very good reputation in the lithium industry for their straightforward approach to doing business.
If LLL do a really good job they could well be in line for another joint venture with Ganfeng in the future.
