For some reason most people here think this project is somehow the biggest event in Mali since independence. The capex is in the low hundred millions USD spread over 2+ years (a massive chunk of which is not even spent in Mali). People here need to get a grip on reality (e.g. start with being realistic on timelines and the relative importance of this project in the business of the whole of Mali government operations).
