The government is dealing with the security situation in the Sahel and the withdrawal of the UN peacekeepers.
They have also been flexing against neighboring states in support of Niger.
The project will be of importance in the long term but I agree it will be of lower order importance to the Junta than it is to shareholders.
All governments move slowly. We could potentially find ourselves suspended when the plant is being commissioned.
The management inherited the fallout from Morilla which has nothing to do with them and the fall out from the political instability in Mali, again nothing to do with Simon Hay and co. The main criticism of management is coming out of suspension in the first place. The subsequent train of communication or lack of, despite the nature of discussions, is disappointing.
The AZS deal shows there is still interest in the sector.
