This is what they are currently doing.

By then, an agreement should be reached with the situation being settled, all of the key questions should be answered, and the market should have full certainty to move forward and put this all behind us.

Also, the absolute worst thing the company could do right now is pause construction. It will hurt us more than it will impact the Mali Government. We are trying to make friends, not enemies.

Unfortunately, all we can do is wait.

About trying to make friends and trust ; how do we go from a great relationship with Mali under the previous mining minister , with the green light for a few DSO shipments etc etc, to now seemingly overnight a less than great relationship with Mali Govt. We have (as I say so often) the establishment agreement under the previous mining code - we did everything Mali asked of us.

I am not anti Mali at all. As per my post yesterday, I have great empathy for countries in a similar situation. The pendulum though , seems to have swung to far the other way...
