Question to the brains trust. Derby, Broome etc are cut off by road due to the massive flooding in the Kimberleys at the moment. The Fitzroy River flood plain is 50km wide. It has been announced by the WA govt that repair of the Fitzroy Crossing bridge, badly damaged by the floods, is at least six months away, possibly more. That means the Broome to Derby to Darwin Northern highway is going to be cut for the foreseeable future- the only way in or out. Gibb River Rd is also cut and could be for several months. These are once in a century floods. Given the location of DRE’s holdings how badly or not will all this affect the company?
