Just hang on a second @Joannie .... I think you're overreacting just a tiny bit.


There was NOT a single word of criticism either spoken OR intended in what I posted. Not a single word.

I simply corrected what was an obvious erroneous use of a similar word to what your friend had intended
to say. My final comment regarding the use of the word prevaricate (which basically is a synonym for the
word "lie") was NOT referring to Veritas but used tongue-in-cheek due to the name he uses - Veritas.

You may or may not be aware that "veritas" is a Latin expression for "truth".

It was irony not insult. Read what I said again in that light and hopefully you'll understand why I won't be
retracting a single word.

Having said that, Veritas sounds like an admirable gent and makes plenty of sense with his comments. I
have no axe to grind with him or anything he said, I simply pointed out that he misspoke. Hardly a crime
and especially in the light that I knew nothing of his medical history either. In fact I'll go so far as to say that
Mr Veritas has a better command of the language than 90% of the people here who don't know their (NOT
there or they're) fundamental orifice from their antecubital fossa.
