It was close to 100 trades. ATO already had all my trades when accountant went to complete tax return. I was told ATO had already re-classed me as a trader, I'm not an accountant so just went with her advice. In the end it worked out better for me paying income tax rather than CGT. I was classed as an investor the previous year but had made a lot less trades.
