Demand for copper is expected to double by 2035 and the expected shortage may have a significant effect on the green revolution. Many of us including myself agree we dont understand the REE market or Wether the west will actually persue REE independance. We do however have a significant project in the kimberly and a large high grade copper discovery may yet save our bacon. Time will tell if DRE have made a strategic blunder chasing REE but we do have multiple back up projects that will hopefully drive the SP forward. REE is the great unknown and hopefully Australia will get this one right and start processing and value adding to the product which we have a history of being notoriously bad at.
