"An informative comment,
why thank you"!?? Sorry if my others haven't lived up to all the outdated articles you spend 5 seconds cut copying & pasting on here (in separate posts of course) continuing your attempts to lure investors in. As I could only go back a few months, seeing as you average about 5 posts a day, it seems the drop in just that time frame has only been from
@4C to down here. You might well want to come up with a
new strategy as grumpycat
correctly pointed out, before you called
him the "class clown".
But I digress. I guess if making "honorable mention" (in case the
better 3 options fall through I imagine) makes you sleep well at night, enough for you
then go on to predict a 20-30c share price, then yeah, it certainly
was "informative". I on the other hand prefer to invest in companies that are
valued at over $100 milliononly when their product is considered to have a bit more of a chance to take any
real market share. But hey, different strokes for different folks. IMO $50 million
might be worth a punt for a company many consider to have the
4th best solution to future battery needs. Wasn't like that when I first invested back in the day. But alternatives pop up quickly in
@10+ years .
AVL need to get funding, that's it. People can post 500 times a day about how wonderful vanadium batteries are, but it's going to make ZERO difference if someone won't give them $500 million, even if (hypothetically of course) when offered
51% of the company as equity
ON TOP of their repayments and high interest!! You think the terms of the deal are going to matter when the alternative is the project getting shelved and people losing their jobs hahahaha?? Thus far it has been 5 very active years of searching for
anyone willing to hand over that money. Everyone is well aware of that, as well as the fact there's only @$20 odd million left in the bank. Can't be too many suckers (sorry, sophisticated investors in certain financial institutions) left out there who'll be part of
another capital raise, no matter how ridiculously AVL continue to get
smashed on the deals. What did the last mob buy in at, almost 5c??? How did that extra dilution help everyone? There just isn't enough liquidity in AVL to make those capital raisings "work" any more I reckon. Certainly as in the "old days"!!
Will it all happen in 2023? Maybe, but if you think non committal MOU's and government grants if if if will do it then good luck to ya. I don't have a dog in this fight, so there's no need for me to continually convince people to buy in to prop up my investment. Others on here obviously have
plenty to lose, and you can see it in their posts, especially as share price is about
half what it was just a while back
.
So to recap, and make it a bit easier to get an answer or two for once, here's the topics I've brought up as red flags. Feel free to just cut copy & paste articles if that's all you've got.
- what in that article I posted isn't factual, and how does the 4th best option for battery alternatives bode for AVL?
- what would the figure now be to build a plant if it was over US$400 million about 3 years ago? Any concerns, or nah?
- what do you see the deal looking like for the funding. Just handing the cash over for interest only, or equity on top? Would anyone accept less than 50% for that type of money?? If so please explain why!!
- Would someone hand over $500/$600 million to secure AVL's vanadium and have no ownership when they could buy the whole thing for $100 million (1/5 of the plant cost) and do it all themselves and keep all these profits I hear about daily?
- how much longer than 5 or more years does any company have to continue to raise funding until it's obligated to shareholders to sell out to someone who actually can? There's @$100 million dollars of value in AVL as of today. Maybe a bit more while there's still some money in the bank. In 12 more months of spending?
- does anyone on here not believe that every funder that is approached already knows AVL has been looking now for over 5 years?
- any explanations as to how a single company can do the two worst capital raises (on behalf of shareholders) that I've seen in my 20 years in Australia? Oh, and in a matter of a just a couple of years. Would just like ONE positive on how and when they were conducted.
So many more questions, but I'll wait to see if anyone will even try at the ones above. For the handful of guys that I know still holding AVL I'd be the first to congratulate those responsible for getting the funding and watching the share price go back up. It would be fun to see OldDan post a picture of him in his new red Ferrari
