Vmoto misses the mark
One microcap I’ve been steadfast in my support for is e-bike firm Vmoto [ASX:VMT]. Up until now, I felt the microcap bear market had unfairly punished the stock despite it posting good financial results. Earlier this week, we found out that the global slowdown finally caught up with the company. They said sales were now falling and gave a subdued outlook for the next financial year. We had no previous inkling of this. Vmoto blames the slowdown in Europe. My analysis said Vmoto was very cheap already. But that hasn’t protected our downside in the way I thought it might. It’s got even cheaper. Again, long term, there’s no reason Vmoto can’t flourish in the future. But for now, the growth outlook is too muted for investors to chase it. Therefore…Action to take: Sell Vmoto [ASX:VMT]. Recent price 25 cents.
