Agree that navigation of the website could do with improvement, but it isn't nearly as difficult as you are making out. It's all there, once you become familiar with the site, and I think the problems would be quite simple to fix.
The main issue is the time it takes to load, which you also pointed out (I actually go and do something else while I'm waiting.). This, compounds with the navigation issues, to make the experience very frustrating. They definitely need to spend some money on more bandwidth.
All IMO.
