Couple this with recent reports that already about half of new vehicles sold in China are now EVs, and China's strategy is clear. They plan to lead the world in the transition to a carbon neutral electric economy. VMT is in the right place to ride this mega-trend.
Another thing to watch is the aging out of the populations in east Asia and Europe. That is going to mean fewer bike riders and more mobility scooter riders. I really think VMT should also position themselves to ride this even more immediate mega-trend with a range of mobility scooters:
