General Discussion

I thought I would take the liberty here and create a general discussion thread whereby holders can comment on all things Trek. That way posters don’t have to keep commenting on old asx announcements, it also helps outside investors looking in as they can review a centralised thread to gain information and insights instead of scouring various different threads.

I am looking forward to the next 6 - 12 months and expect Trek to ramp up their exploration activities, especially from a news flow/announcement standpoint. I know the company hasn’t produced anything meaningful yet from the exploration front but I still have faith in management to deliver over the long term. The last 6 months has still been productive but more from a corporate standpoint. I am sure they have still been doing field work and reviewing data in the background to determine drill targets but to put it in perspective we still have managed to complete the following transactions :

Enter into a scheme of arrangement to acquire a manganese project from Edge minerals

Acquire a prospective base metals tenement from Buxton resources

Acquire a base metals tenement from Pilbara Minerals

Convert our minority interest in zinc project in Africa to direct equity in Apollo minerals

These type of corporate deals take an extensive amount of time away from management so please keep this in mind. It is also part of our broader corporate strategy to become a base metals player in the Pilbara region so the above transactions all make long term sense to me.

Who would have thought six months ago that the Trek share price would be 5.2 cents… certainly not me but I am still happy to continuing buying at these levels to average down, as it is a long term play for me. Going in to the new financial year, at least we won’t have anymore artificial June tax loss sellers amongst us. I read an article this morning that this has been the toughest 6 months in 50 years for the S and P 500 so it shows you what investors are contending with at the moment. Hopefully all the longer term holders are still here, Cheers CP.
