I saw this article on the Beeb. Not sure it has anything new but interesting enough. Actually various bits of the BBC seem to regularly produce pieces on the microbiome, and one good thing is they tend not to overegg the potential or gloss over the timeframe of any advancements in the field. In contrast with the ABC which does a terrible job with science topics imo.

To me it seems the use of the microbiome in affecting health is still at the pop science stage, with lots of generalities and guesswork. Hopefully the tools that Microba has developed will change that.
