This has been brewing for a few weeks on above average daily buying. Most definitely not due to the buyback as, at most, it would be 10% of the daily volume. Also, the price would have been too high to continue buying later in today’s trading day. A stake is definitely being built.
Hopefully, whoever it is, they will continue to buy in the coming days/weeks prior to a possible takeover offer appearing on our screens. Highly probable in my opinion.
Also, any offer would have to be in excess of $1.50 because the BOD would reject anything lower if they don’t want to look foolish.
