Sorry, couldn't disagree more. Putting on a pair of glasses is too hard? seriously... it's a hell of a lot quicker than booting up a pc, going to a website and interacting last century style.

Why the hell would someone want to talk to a non-real auto-generated response avatar when they could talk to a real person (in avatar form) in an immersive environment who can then demonstrate and show them the real thing as if they're standing right there, in real time, in 360 degree 3D... rather than some bad lip synced 2D fake cartoony offering..

If you've never been in an immersive environment using a Meta Quest helmet (completely different than just some 3D glasses from the 90s), you have no clue about this stuff, honestly.. sorry... in an immersive environment you are there, can walk around in real space - touch and move, control everything in that space, not some crappy chat to something on a LCD monitor in 2D

My final point is that it won't be the best tech that wins anyway, like VHS/Beta etc. it will be whoever gets mass market dominance. Microsoft Windows, Google Android, Youtube and Facebook are hardly technological miracles, they sucks balls, but 99% of people still use them.
