Agree, we need to get the algorithms working for us. The rumours are that videos are promoted more on interaction than views. So hitting the Like, or making a comment is more important than watching it (according to people on the internet, so it (obviously) must be true).
A video with 49 views and 9 likes probably isn't scoring very highy on any algorithm, hence you're 100% correct @Lynetteg , we need to promote it too.
