When your business competes in a segment where there is a lot of competition, that means there is a lot of demand. These are in fact desirable segments to be participating in and most often have the best market economics.
Some of the Digital Humans in that video are scary because they are so fake looking. Even the Uneeq avatar is years out of date now. Unith is more advanced and probably in the top 90% of Digital Humans in terms of appearance.
