The man effectively bucketed the whole sector other than Lynas. Some promotion of the sector. You have to laugh.
He acknowledged clay based RE could be a disrupter to the existing supply chain then suggests a billion plus cap cost for development. That may be the case for remote projects but not one mention of near Esperance projects. I think the man may have got close to discussing Esperance projects when he mentioned waiting for met results.
Overall an informed discussion but little relevance to Aus clay hosted rare earths projects. Interviewers, to be fair, gave him little op to talk Aus clay projects.
OD6 should bring out some interesting reports any day now. Let’s hope they can be more positive than that interview for the RE sector.
