The Albernarle announcement's are a slight shift to NA lithium and a consolidation of its Aus lithium. Which is not necessarily a bad sign for NA developers.
“The actions we are taking allow us to advance near-term growth and preserve future opportunities as we navigate the dynamics of our key end-markets,” chief executive Kent Masters said in the statement. “The long-term fundamentals for our business are strong and we remain committed to operating in a safe and sustainable manner.” 
The US-based lithium producer noted it would finish the commissioning of several lithium refineries in China and Australia, which are almost fully built. The company also said it would focused on securing the necessary permits to reopen its Kings Mountain lithium mine in North Carolina.
The asset contains one of the few known hard rock lithium deposits in the US. According to Albemarle, the operation would feed sufficient material for 50 kt LCE of conversion capacity and support the manufacturing about 1.2 million electric vehicles a year initially.

The Blue Solutions and Li Metals partnership is apparently looking to build a plant, and since have offices in Canada, seems the general consensus is that it will be there.

It seems they are also in the market for supply of Lithium and apparently that is another reason as to why Canada is a great choice to them.

So they are keen on some spodumene. Obviously there are more advanced explorers/developers in Canada and larger recourses as well. So definitely not investment advice but definitely found in interesting.

And More mention from Blue Solutions towards Canada.

And there even some talk about how sustainable they would try and be about creating a battery recycling ecosystem up there as well, which got me back onto Anthony Tse with his connections to Li-Cycle as well.

Anyway, could all be a wild goose chase but found some of the connections interesting.
