Thanks.....I rang CMC, and they were very definite that their clients individually (whatever holding name) owned shares are not on-lent/borrowed/short-sold/held on margin...... I can only trust the guy I spoke to I suppose, but he was definite about it.
Now for next calls to my other brokers.
