I can't believe the selling on ARU over the last 2 days. Crazy action with the shorters having a field day. Down 17% in 2 days!!
Tesla's plan of not using Rare earths is not happening tomorrow. Most likely another 12/18mths away if it actually happens!!
All other EV manufacturers are going to still use Rare Earths!
Global consumption keeps growing. The EV market is NOT the only industry that uses REE. There are so many applications for it.
The military/defence use a significant amount. One fighter jet as an example, uses 400kgs to 500kgs of Rare Earths
Its used in missiles, satellites, Guidance systems etc. That's a whole lot of Rare Earths consumption right there.
