Looks like S&P DJ Indices doesn't count the shares owned by HP/GR as part of the Investable Weight Factor when assessing who will make the ASX200 (also don't count shares owned by Directors & staff/Executive team). May also not count the 7% owned by ECE Nolans (foreign ownership), so the total shares on issue that might be counted toward S&P's MC of ARU is approx. 82%. That's the main reason it didn't "beat" SYR for the final spot (only 4 changes to ASX200 this quarter 20th March)
