DFC don’t like to invest directly in African mines
They use special purpose investment vehicles like Techmet
Techmet has already invested indirectly with LPD (boat has likely sailed)
No one appears interested in risky drought stricken political Namibia when the upstream feed is being sent to UAE who again do not appear interested (for like 5 years)
US based Chem plant is LPDs only option to succeed so maybe Techmet may just be LPDs saviour
but if there is this small chance…they’ll likely COMMERCIALLY invest in a discounted equity placement post stock consolidation
massive dilution on the cards…hence petty CASH trades
