Just to clarify my understanding, do you consider a Qatari sovereign investment fund finance package for the Abu Dhabi plant is an outside possibility based on this Techmet investment? I note that UAE and Qatari relations have been a bit up and down from cursory reading, at least a few news sites including Al Jazeera suggest so.
At first glance therefore potentially UAE might not be comfortable, but I don't know how their views on foreign investment/diplomatic relations with Qatar would actually influence that other than a surface level guess on my part.
Alternatively, if the UAE views Qatar as a strategic rival, I wonder if UAE might change their tune and view advancing LPD separately from Techmet as a means to keep pace with Qatar. Given LPD is based on the same technology Techmet has funded via Cornish Lithium.
