The CEPA ( Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement)with UAE covers a number of areas this one might have some downstream positive affect for LPD :
Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs)
CEPA contains commitments that support MSMEs to secure benefits from the agreement. The MSMEs chapter contains articles providing for an online hub of resources for MSMEs considering trading or investing in the other country; and pathways to cooperate on exchanging best practice in promoting MSME engagement in international trade and addressing specific barriers faced by MSMEs to trade.

Although LPD have travelled a long road in already achieving most requirements to operate in UAE and there may not be any other benefits from including this initiative in The CEPA for LPD.
The CEPA main aim is the reduce tariffs on imported goods from Australia to UAE and to encourage investment by UAE in renewable energy and critical minerals in Australia. Although LPD is listed on the ASX it does not export out of Australia nor is its activities in Australia. However being a listed ASX company wishing to develop a P1 plant of lithium chemical within the UAE, particularly with supposedly a robust environmentally responsible metallurgy producing a suite of critical minerals and other by products of use by UAE, the CEPA might prompt a possible financial partner to finally emerge from the desert oasis of Abu Dhabi, it will need to be soon though.
