Each of the matters you cite in support of your proposal to announce negotiations between LPD and prospective stakeholders has a simple explanation, none of which validate your proposal.

    1. Santos and Woodside were confirming discussions that were already reported in news media. There have been no such reports related to LPD, so there is nothing that LPD needs to respond to. Any negotiations rightly remain confidential.

    2. A Terms Sheet is a material change to the business, so investors should expect an announcement to be made in accordance with ASX continuous disclosure rules.

    3. The BASF MOU/LOI was already in the public domain prior to the proposed takeover of Desert Lion (for the acquisition of the Karibib mine), so the matter was not subject to any negotiations.

    4. The AGM is open to all investors to attend, and was live-streamed so non-attending shareholders could have listened and participated. Although it was made clear that there were on-going discussions with several prospects, none were named (and rightly so). The AGM was held on 2023-11-21, so the 2023Q4 Report is the first (and appropriate) release by LPD to update investors. Unless there is a material change, then the ASX continuous disclosure rules do not apply.

    5. The Quarterly Reports from LPD have historically contained more than "a summary of announcements and financials as at the end of the previous quarter". Typically, they include products & marketing, market updates, activities related to future growth (eg P2 scoping study), exploration & resource development, and patents & trademarks.
They have always provided investors with information to provide a clear understanding of how the company is positioned and activities undertaken to achieve the goals set by the Board.

Lastly, public disclosure of the parties in discussion with LPD would likely undermine LPD's negotiating position. Confidentiality creates a competitive tension, and prevents potential customers from colluding, possibly leading to a withdrawal by one or more prospects.
