Actually LFP CAM powder was selling for about $25Kg (the $100Kg was to align that you 4 times as much LFP from 1 unit of Li2CO3) ... the way I wrote and calculated it is not correct ...

Not exactly easy to find what LFP powder sells for: https://www.metal.com/Ternary-precursor-material/202006100013

    https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/5520/5520310-439f28c7d16aec1b6474907870a51fb1.jpg

RMB75,000 is about US$10,000/t (US$10/kg .... my my my the price has come down big time from $25/Kg)
And ~4t of LFP can be refined from each tonne of Li2CO3
    And 1t of Li2CO3 sells for ~US$32,750/t

And that math doesn't appear to make a whole lot of sense to me on the surface.
    If I had 12,000t of Li2CO3 I could sell that for ~$393M
    OR
I could spend CAD$1.2B - call it US$1B - build a CAM plant (assuming LFP CAM) to make 45,000t LFP and sell for $450M.
So I make an additional US$67M of revenue ... that would take 15 years in of itself ...

Also there is this one can read
    https://m.energytrend.com/news/20230811-35297.html

"Lithium iron phosphate prices have experienced a decline this week. The average price of lithium iron phosphate power batteries saw a decrease of RMB 4,000/ ton, settling at RMB89,000/ton. This marked a month-on-month reduction of 4.3%. Similarly, the average cost of energy storage lithium iron phosphate witnessed a decline of RMB5,000/ton, reaching RMB84,000/ ton. This represented a month-on-month decrease of 5.62%."

That price works out to be US$12,200/t .... so now its ~US$50,000 as compared to US$32,750 ... much better ($549M) and about 6.5 yrs

Sorry for any confusion but this is why companies do a DFS ... how far downstream should you go and what is your marginal returns for doing so.
