BOQ has been in and out of this position throughout the last nine months,as the shorts decreased to 6.5% approx and made the Top 10 movers ( shorts decreasing )- six weeks ago and as the market hits some resistance recently- short term September/ October are notorious for this BOQ has gone back to 7% .What's your point.
A short today is a guaranteed buyer tomorrow as value stocks are overshoot to the downsize,in this post COVID market .Most of the bad news is priced into the current shareprice IMO and some early reports suggest a dividend of 24c in November which could burn the shorts . Queensland is only moving forward - population, housing construction, tourism, Queens Wharf , Olympics etc
